So your publicist FINALLY told you to publicly issue an apology huh? A bit late wouldn’t you say? Maybe you should have done that the second after you made a jackass out of yourself for trying to ride the coattails of a pop star who’s hitting rock bottom?
(my stance on britney is a whole other post - the fact remains that she’s a human being who needs help - not a diet-promoting yet overweight egotistical tv personality spouting bull to the press)
Now why would you do such a thing Dr. Phil? You’re so smart! Oh could it possibly be because of your fast approaching 1000th show? No… couldn’t be… could it? You sly bastard.
You have a daytime talk show. You’re not a messiah. You’re a ratings whore - just like everyone else on television. You really shouldn’t think that just because you’ve got Oprah’s approval and a degree that your pathetic instances of self-promotion won’t be noticed.
So take this as a little reminder, some tough love, if you will - we still think you’re a douchebag - yes half-assed forced apology and all.
